History and Experience
Dr. Moore and Dr. Stockstill met while both employed as Obstetrician/Gynecologists at Physicians to Women in Roanoke, VA. They shared a love of prenatal care and of delivering babies for many years. They also found fulfillment in helping women with health issues through all stages of life, from adolescence through the postmenopausal years. During their years at Physicians to Women, Dr. Moore and Dr. Stockstill performed a wide variety of gynecologic surgeries as well as actively participated in resident education.
Dr. Moore left private practice in 2004 to raise her young children. She continued to maintain her medical license through continuing education, provided volunteer gynecologic care at the Bradley Free Clinic and the Rescue Mission, and taught at the Virginia Tech Carilion College of Medicine.
In 2014, Dr. Stockstill left his OBGYN practice to focus on Office Gynecology. He quickly became involved in volunteering at the Bradley Free Clinic, Habitat for Humanity, and various mission trips. Several months later, he and Dr. Moore became partners in establishing their office-based Gynecology practice.
